A canal boat holiday in Britain is a unique way to see our towns, villages and countryside. With a speed limit of 4mph, rushing is not an option and with the stresses of modern travel there’s never been a better time to spend your holiday on a narrowboat.

Based in beautiful Cheshire, we can offer a large selection of different routes to try from open countryside to bright city lights and with great motorway, rail and air links close by we are well located to get to with the minimum of fuss.

When you arrive at our base, our friendly and knowledgeable staff are here to look after you. From discussing and advising on routes to teaching beginners how to operate your boat safely and navigate bridges, tunnels and locks our team all agree that helping our guests is the best part of the job.

A Canal Boat Holiday Without Extra Charges

As usual, at Claymoore, we won’t charge you extra for fuel, gas, insurance or 2 pets. We understand that when you are on holiday the last thing you want to be thinking about is extra charges you might receive on your return.

With one new boat and one with a brand new galley in 2011 we are continuing to improve our fleet. In 2012 we’ll see another of our boats with a new galley and we are currently working on plans for a brand new boat that will sleep 8.
