Chester Castle, Halton Castle, Chirk Castle (54ft Length)

These three boats are all 54ft long and are fitted with gas fired central heating to radiators in each cabin. In the bow, seating can accomodate two in comfort whilst at the stern there is room for two to three people to stand with the steersperson. The for'd cabin sleeps two in single beds or a double can be made over the gangway but with reduced access to the bows. The mid cabin has a double or two single beds with a toilet, vanity unit and wardrobes separating the cabins. The main bathroom contains toilet, shower and washbasin. In the saloon, a dinette seats 6 and is converted to a double bed at night. The galley has a 4 ring gas hob, oven and grill, electric fridge, sink and drainer and high and  low storage cupboards. Steps go up to the stern deck with a small airing cupboard and storage for wet weather gear on either side.

There is a TV with DVD player, car radio with CD player and a cigar lighter socket for phone charging. A small inverter give 240 volts for charging phones and electric shavers. The boat comes equipped with a small hair dryer and all cooking and eating utensils. 

The engine is a 4 cylinder water cooled diesel with a hydraulic drive to the propeller controlled by a single lever.

Beeston Castle (56ft Length)

Beeston Castle is a newer boat brought into the fleet 2006. Slightly longer than the other castle class boats at 56 ft it gives greater flexibility in the accomodation and is fitted with a 220 volt AC mains system with sockets in each cabin, the saloon and galley. As with all our boats, heating is by a gas fired boiler to radiators in each cabin.

Seating in the bow can accomodate two in comfort whilst at the stern there is room for two to three people to stand with the steers-person. The for'd cabin can be configured for a double berth or two singles with a similar arrangement for the mid cabin. A toilet, vanity unit and wardrobes separate the cabins. Short breaks available on Chirk Castle only. Prices shown are per boat and include all fuel, calor gas, insurance and VAT at 17.5%. Short break hire periods are from 3pm Friday - 9am Monday and 3pm Monday - 9am Friday. A 10 or 11 day holiday is calculated at full week price + 50% of 2nd week price.
