Valle Crucis Abbey (58ft Length)

Valle Crucis Abbey sleep up to 8 people. It is an older boat and this is reflected in the price when compared to Norton Priory.

Bow seating for two gives a wonderful tranquil view of your passage along the canal whilst on the spacious stern deck, the steersperson is not alone but can be joined by several of the crew.

The forward cabin sleeps two on single beds. A wardrobe and toilet compartment seperates this from the second cabin containing two bunks on the left hand side. Cabin three can be configured as a double bed or two singles. The bathroom contains a shower, toilet and washbasin in a vainity unit. The saloon dinette seats six on the banquette and two on stools. The galley is equipped with a four burner hob, grill and oven; electric fridge and sink and drainer. By the side of the steps up to the stern deck is an airing cabinet over the hot tank which is heated by the engine. There are lashings of hot water. On the opposite side is a hanging space for wet weather gear (a set of which are supplied for the steersperson).

The boat has central heating throughout with hot water radiators which are fitted in each cabin and the saloon.

A TV with DVD player is fitted together with a radio/CD player and a cigar lighter socket for charging phones etc. A small inverter powers the TV and can be used to charge phones or shavers but is not suitable for hair dryers. A modest 12 volt hair dryer is supplied.

Norton Priory (65ft Length)

The extra length of this boat allows for greater flexibility in the sleeping arrangements. As on most of our boats, two can sit in comfort in the bows and there is ample space for the crew at the stern. The forward cabin can be a double bed or two singles with similar arrangements for cabins two and three. A second toilet separates the forward cabin from the next and wardrobes seperate cabins two and three. The bathroom contains a toilet, shower and washbasin in a vanity unit. The dinette seats 8 on the banquette with stools on the passageway side. The galley has a four burner hob, grill and oven with to its left the sink and drainer. Opposite are high and low storage cupboards, the electric fridge, a toaster and microwave.

A 220 volt AC mains supply is fitted with sockets in each cabin, the saloon and galley. The saloon has a TV with DVD player, car radio/CD player and a 12 volt cigarette lighter socket which can be used to charge phones, cameras etc.

The boat is driven by a modern 4 cylinder diesel engine with a hydraulic drive to the propeller.

Short breaks available on Valle Crucis Abbey only. Prices shown are per boat and include all fuel, calor gas, insurance and VAT at 17.5%. Short break hire periods are from 3pm Friday - 9am Monday and 3pm Monday - 9am Friday. A 10 or 11 day holiday is calculated at full week price + 50% of 2nd week price.
