You will always find a warm welcome at Claymoore Canal Holidays. As a family owned company with over 30 years experience on the inland waterways, we pride ourselves on providing a friendly efficient service that allows us to give you the individual attention of our experienced staff.

From our base at Preston Brook in Cheshire you can explore the waterways of the North West of England, venture into Wales along the Llangollen Canal, take a leisurely cruise to Chester or go further afield and explore the Midlands. We are open seven days a week and you are welcome to come along and take a look around our boats when they are not out for hire.

As well as our hire boat fleet, we have a gift shop on-site, run the Canal Warehouse online waterways store and carry out all manner of servicing and repairs on privately owned boats. We also have diesel facilities for passing boats and are a registered retailer for Calor gas, providing the service to both boaters and the surrounding areas of Warrington and Runcorn.

A canal boating holiday may be something new to you. We know that your vacation time is precious, so we want to ensure that you go home with happy memories and with thoughts about taking another canal boat holiday.

With a tunnel and lock close by to our base, we are able to demonstrate to newcomers how to navigate these waterways structures safely so that you build your confidence before you go it alone. Perhaps the greatest advantage of canal holidays are that the whole family including the dog can enjoy themselves without the need to go searching for costly entertainment.
